Corbin Seat

Dual Tour for 1997 - 2004 Harley Davidson Roadkings
This
re-engineered Dual Touring Saddle provides you and a passenger with sculpted
seating and long range comfort. Our generously contoured platforms provide
better weight distribution to eliminate hot spots and give long range support.
Our STANDARD Dual Touring Saddle is designed to fit the lowest section of the
Roadking chassis and put you in the Sweet spot, but for most people requires a
change to handlebars with more pull-back (like the Flanders "Corbin Bend"). This
CLOSE version shown here is designed closer to the bars so a handlebar change
isn't required, but still provides a more correct seating posture on the bike
for better balance and control.
Corbin's Dual Tour accepts two removable rider’s backrests! Each backrest is
fully adjustable for a tailored fit to rider posture. Dual Touring Saddle will
work with factory luggage rack on the rear if you prefer and we even offer a
coordinated pad to complete the look. In the front we have engineered the
backrest to fold down to make it easier to mount the bike. This special hardware
(internal to the saddle) also allows the backrest position fore and aft to be
adjusted to your profile. Naturally, you can use a single backrest that
transfers front to back as needed or use two backrests for full time use.
For the
ultimate in luxury, we have built electric seat heaters into our Dual Touring
saddle design. A single switch controls the heat for both the rider and
passenger positions. The switch is conveniently located along the left side of
the saddle so you can reach it without taking your hand off the throttle. The
two position switch allows you to select a heat level depending on conditions.
The level of heat is controlled automatically by a thermostat built into the
control unit. This setup is very simple to install into your Roadking wiring.
This
saddle also accepts our chrome "V-rail" for an added nostalgic touch, but not if
you are using a luggage rack or sissy bar. Show quality chrome plating provides
a nice touch of class. V-rail mounts directly to the Corbin saddle for simple
installation that does not require drilling or brackets. To simplify mounting
the saddle on your bike and provide a nice clean look, we also offer a chromed,
billet thumbscrew. Available in either 1/4" x 20 or 1/4" x 28 thread sizes, our
thumbscrew gives tool-free installation of your new saddle.
We use
genuine leather in all of our seat models to provide a luxurious ride that
breathes with your body. A wide range of leather options are available for a
custom look to suit your taste. Leather will break in along with your foam shape
to give you a personalized fit and will age gracefully with proper care. Take
good care of your leather seat with a quality conditioner like Corbin's Saddle
Cream. You seat will look nice for years and show character just like your
leather jacket.
We have two versions of this saddle model available. One is designed for the
standard Roadking chrome dash and the other is designed specially for the chrome
dash on the new Screaming Eagle Roadking. If you want to convert your bike to
the Screaming Eagle look, you can order the correct Dash for your bike by asking
your Harley dealer for part number 69105-02. Be sure to specify the correct
saddle when ordering depending on which dash you are using.

About Corbin seat heaters
Maximum Current Draw: 3.5 Amps at 13.8 volts
On High, the
heater will attain a surface temperature of 107 degrees in roughly 10
minutes. The temperature is then tightly controlled and will cycle between
105-107 degrees for one hour. After one hour it is shut off by an internal
timer. The heater can be reset for another hour of operation by moving the
switch to the OFF position and then back to ON.

Special Notes and Info
Rider Seating: 14"w x 16.5" l
Passenger: 13.5"w x 14" l
This saddle does
not fit with the model #53391-94 luggage rack available from Harley Davidson
for 1998 models.
Due to variations in the
Harley fuel tank, minor adjustments of your dash may be needed to achieve a
perfect fit. This is a simple procedure that involves only two bolts.
There are two models of
removable sissy bars available from Harley-Davidson. One is designed for the
`94-`96 models and the other for the `97 & up. Both will fit on the late
model (`97 & up) Roadkings, but our Dual Touring saddle #HD-RK-DT-CE &
#HD-RK-DT-CE-DASH will only work with the one designed FOR that bike. Please
be sure your dealer is supplying the correct sissy bar for your bike!
The 2003 & up Roadking has the
handlebars rotated further forward than previous years which makes the seat
feel too far back. We recommend rotating the bars towards the driver a few
degrees for a more comfortable feel.
